My heart is breaking...

This is probably one of the worst times of my life. My mom passed away on Tuesday. She just started having trouble breathing and within about 10 minutes she was gone. It was so sudden, I didn't even have a chance to say goodbye. The doctor thinks it was either a blood clot that broke loose or a massive heart attack. They worked on her for more than an hour, but they couldn't help her. This is truly just absolutely shitty, let me tell you.

I won't be shutting my page down, but it might be a while before I get back on. Please keep my family in your prayers. My brothers are both on their way home from their military stations in Japan to attend her memorial service, so please keep them in your prayers and thoughts as well. Thank you all so much for understanding.

Not much to know,really. I'm 26 years old, very shy, and I like to hang out with my family, exercise and play around on my laptop.

My favourite form of artistic expression is photography. It's what I am best at and what I have the most passion for. I focus mainly on nature and animals, and I love to do macro shots. The tools of my trade are:

~Nikon Coolpix L120
~Photoshop Elements 8
~Paint.NET
~My backyard and neighborhood

I also love to dabble in both tradtional and digital drawing and painting/airbrushing from time to time. I am not very good at either one, but it makes me happy to do them, so I figure why not? I also do fractals and digital abstract, and they are both quite fun to do. The tools that I use for all my tradional and digital work are:
